Pharmaceutical Chemistry Division of Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics mainly engages in the research and development of chemical drugs, particularly in the synthesis and purification of antibiotics. We now have 24 employees, including 5 researchers, 3 associate researchers, 5 master supervisors and 10 graduate students. Notably three of our researchers are granted state-level special allowance by the government. Over the past years, we have accomplished many research works, about 30 of which had been awarded state or ministry level prizes on sci-tech advancement. We have contributed our part to China's pharmaceutical industry as a whole. Currently our research directions are focused on cephalosporin & aminoglycoside antibiotics,     statins, antiviral drugs, antitumor drugs, antidepressant and anesthetics.
